Dr. Liana Apostolova, Associate Professor of Neurology and a member of UCLA's Mary S. Easton Center for Alzheimer's Disease Research, was quoted in a May 23 Technology Review article about a new fluorescent dye used in brain imaging that binds to amyloid plaques, a physical hallmark of Alzheimer's disease.
